Got my AR pistol done in OD Green by DFW Gun Coatings. Great experience with Scott. He was able to get all my parts done in under a week. Communication was excellent and the work was everything I wanted it to be. I’ve put the finished AR pistol through a few weeks of punishment and the cerakote is still looking great. I recently dropped off a Ruger LCP frame to have Cerakoted in Dark Earth and not only did they have completed in only a couple days, but it also looks great. I’ll definitely be bringing more firearms back for Cerakoting in the future.

I recently had both my Ruger LCP .380 and an old Savage 775A 12 ga shotgun re-finished by Scott at DFW Gun Coatings and I couldn’t be more pleased. My Ruger looks like it came that way from the factory and the Savage, which was in rough shape, to put it mildly, now looks darn near new. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work that was done and look forward to bringing more by in the future!

Scott created an amazing design and did an absolutely fantastic job on my .50 BMG and scope, he spent alot of time getting things done right! Scott did a fantastic job on my Romanian TT-33 Tokarev. Dropped the gun off on Friday evening and picked it up the following Monday! He even offered to disassemble the firing pin assembly (I forgot!) which was a real pain on this old gun. Pistol was done in Armor Black & Jungle and is exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will bring any other toys to Scott in the future!

I got in contact with Scott near the end of 2019 to get my AR lower, handguard, and barrel cerakoted. Got the lower and handguard coated in burnt bronze, and the barrel in light silver satin. He worked with me personally to make sure that I got the exact color and sheen that I was looking for.
I was and still am pleased with the results that Scott provided. The coatings are flawless and durable, and the turnaround times (from dropping off the part to completion) were fast. Once I have another part that I want cerakoted, I’ll go with DFW Gun Coatings.

Scott did a great job on my shotgun barrels. Turn around was quick and he will do whatever is necessary to make sure you are happy. He will be the only person I got to for cerakote services from now on.

I just put my model 70 back together after Scott completed the midnight bronze coating on all metal parts. Scott’s attention to detail is great and demands perfection in his work. Enough so that he chose to redo some of the parts that weren’t perfect before even telling me. Couldn’t ask for better quality from anyone else.

My son needed a new Glock 20 Cerekoted before heading to work in Alaskan bear country for the summer. He contacted Scott who said he could do it in short order as well as put some new night sights on the gun. Scott notified us the next day that it was ready and when we picked up the gun, he gave us an unrushed wealth of knowledge about the gun, disassembly, cleaning, care and operation. An incredible experience and I would highly recommend Scott for any gun coating, gun repair and maintenance needs.

Working with Scott was a pleasure. He made sure the color/shade was exactly what I wanted, even going so far as to bring out color swatches and bottles of Cerakote to look at. Very quick responses to emails as well. He was even kind enough to not charge me for a magazine base plate that had the tiniest smudge on it. I love the way my Springfield Armory Hellcat turned out. All around class act that I would highly recommend.

Pretty much every rifle I own is FDE and I was looking to do something a little different on my latest build. I contacted Scott and went with Tungsten H-237 for the parts. All of the parts turned out perfect and I could not be happier with the results.

Had Scott cerakote a pistol frame, barrel, and frame small parts. Turnaround time was exactly as he said, 4 weeks, and came out looking great.

I came to Scott to Cerakote a 1911 slide and frame and also add a logo on the slide. The project came out much better than I expected and I am very happy with the results. I had my handguard, upper and lower receivers cerakoted by Scott. The pieces look amazing and the turnaround time was fantastic. Scott had to reblast some of the parts because when he finished they came out with a different sheen. He texted me and told me he was not satisfied with his work and was going to redo the entire thing so it all matched! Great customer service and will 100% be taking future projects to DFW Gun Coatings.

I had a small non gun related part coated and it came out great. The price included bead blasting the old paint off so that was good to know. His prices were the best I found.
I don’t know if should tell you this but I got the part back the same day. (I would not expect that kind of turnaround every time without asking before dropping off the parts) But I think it’s a strong indicator of his rapid completion times.
Too bad I can’t post before and after shots of the part I had coated. -
Scott just finished a few old FAL mags and a shotgun heat shield for me and he did a fantastic job on them! Everything looks great and I’m very happy with his work!

Scott did a great job on my Noveske rifle. I was looking for a specific cerekote mix that other people said they couldn’t/wouldn’t do. I came across Scott’s work and he said he’d be more than happy to do whatever I specified and he nailed it! Scott did a fantastic job coating the barrel/action and bolt on my Remington 700. Very pleased with the quality of the work and the look – this rifle is now ready to go for rainy/wet weather hunting.. He was transparent, communicative and detail oriented throughout the process. Dfw gun coating did my entire AR rifle and bolt carrier group. The coating is a major upgrade from the standard black Anodize and nitriding. Its better protected from corrosion Scott also put a low friction coating called micro slick on the bolt carrier and it is running super smooth now. The gun is better now then it was brand new thanks!!

I have a 1980 12ga. Browning BPS that my daughter who is turning 21 soon wants as her own. It was pretty rough having been painted over the decades and used pretty hard. Scott took it in hand and did a fantastic job with the black cerakote! He basically turned it back into a new gun ready for her to run hunting for the next 40 years. I couldn’t believe how exacting Scott is in his work and how good it looked when he was done. You couldn’t do better for any amount of money.

Scott did a great job on my 1911. I went with a 2-tone black and gold, it came out really nice! This was a rush order, I handed my parts over in the morning and got them back later that afternoon. I’ll be using Scott’s services again soon.
